Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Sun & Sand Property Management ("Sun & Sand", "we", "us") collects when you use www.sastci.com, and what we do with it.
What you tell us
When you fill in a form, we receive what you type into it.
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, subject and message.
- Quote form: your name, email address, phone number, how and when you'd like us to contact you, and details about your property, such as its location, type, size, bedrooms and bathrooms, whether you rent it out or live in it, whether it has a current manager, the services you're interested in and any notes.
What we record when you visit
Our site keeps its own simple visitor statistics. For each visit we record the pages you view, the site that referred you, your browser, operating system and device type, how long you stay, and your IP address with the approximate city and country it maps to. We look up that location by sending your IP address to ipapi.co.
These records are linked by a random session ID stored in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on our pages.
Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, to run and protect the site.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare any quote you ask for.
- To provide property management services if you become a client.
- To see which pages people use, so we can improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and filter out spam.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They handle information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:
- Supabase, which hosts our database, including form submissions and visitor statistics.
- Vercel, which hosts the website.
- Resend, which sends the emails triggered by our forms.
- Zoho, which hosts our email inbox.
- ipapi.co, which turns IP addresses into an approximate location.
Other sites and embedded content
Some beach and dining pages include an embedded Google Map. The map loads from Google, which may set its own cookies and collect information under Google's privacy policy.
We link to other sites, including Viator, SwiftEats, restaurants, tour operators and booking platforms. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site. Viator may record that you arrived through our link so we can be credited for a booking; see our affiliate disclosure for more.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any business that follows, and visitor statistics for as long as they're useful for understanding how the site is used. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Get in touch through our contact page and we'll respond as soon as we can. You can also block session storage, cookies or requests to ipapi.co in your browser settings or with a privacy extension; the site will still work.
Children
Our site is meant for adults planning trips or managing property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, and only authorised staff can see form submissions. No website or service is completely secure, though, so we can't guarantee it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
